In 2015, we organized and led a charity fundraising expedition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, to raise funds for the conservation non-profit organization Save the Elephants in Kenya. It was a tough 6-day climb to the summit at 19,340 feel AMSL but we all made it!! Eternally grateful to my wife and Co-Founder Kitty for organizing the logistics, marketing and support for this expedition and to my friends Dave and Kris Gilbert who made it up the mountain with me. Spent a few days recovering at Elephant Watch Camp in Samburu, Kenya after the climb.
