Transparency and Accountability:
We will be good stewards of our contributor’s donations and transparent in how we use those funds. They have placed their trust in us to use their donations wisely and as intended and we will not violate that trust. We seek membership in non-profit oversight bodies and implement industry best practices for internal organization financial controls.
A Laser Focus on our Mission:
Our core mission is to support locally-led conservation initiatives to ensure the survival of threatened wildlife and to educate the public about the threats faced by these embattled species. Everything we do directly supports our core mission.
The Human Dimension:
We will never forget the human dimension in pursuing our conservation objectives nor implement or support projects that harm local populations. We will engage the local population and solicit their opinions and recommendations and employ local labor on our projects when possible.
Teamwork and Cooperation:
We will partner with like-minded organizations and persons to pursue our goal of ensuring the survival of threatened wildlife regardless of race, religion, creed or national origin.
About Us
Champions4Wildlife was born out of a dream of the organization’s founders, Brian and Kitty Johnson. Passionate conservationists and nature enthusiasts, Brian and Kitty wanted to do more to assist locally-led grass-roots organizations performing critically important work on the frontlines of wildlife conservation around the world. Parallel to these efforts, C4W believes it is critically important to raise awareness about the threats to Earth’s wildlife and natural spaces through a dynamic, relevant and informative education program.
